Bordergame

John and Matt directed Bordergame for National Theatre Wales and The Space.

Bordergame was a simultaneous interdependent off and online theater experience in which street audiences were smuggled from England to Wales by a people smuggling ring, whilst online audiences signed up as active citizens and tried to intervene on behalf of the Border Agency of The Autonomous Republic of Cymru. The piece was the result of a 3 year conversation with asylum seekers and refugees living in Wales.

Bordergame won the Inaugural Space prize for digital innovation.
